Meets 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:00pm at the Jaffa
The Antique and Classic Car Club was founded in 1993, with 20 charter members initially meeting in the Jaffa Shrine’s 22nd Street Lounge. Elected in the first corps of officers were Present, Ward Hoenstine; Vice President, Dave Peterman; 2nd Vice President, Bill Mallory; Secretary/Treasurer, Dick Feather; Directors, Roy Beckwith and Rodger White.
One year later, the club’s first Car Show was held on the Broad Avenue grounds of the Jaffa Shrine. It was such a success that the Annual Car Show now takes place each Memorial Day weekend at DelGrosso’s Amusement Park, Tipton PA. Currently, 48 members from the states of Pennsylvania and Ohio take great pride in showing off their immaculate “old” vehicles.
The Jaffa Antique and Classic Car Club participates in many local parades and has traveled as far as the M.A.S.A Convention in Virginia Beach. The club motto speaks for us all: “Happy Motoring and God Bless America.”
