Knights of Columbus and Calliope Clowns Present Check for 40th Consecutive Year
For forty consecutive years, the Hollidaysburg Knights of Columbus and the Jaffa Calliope Clowns have been holding a chicken barbeque to raise funds for the Shriners Hospital For Children – Philadelphia. To mark this milestone, several members of the KOC traveled along with the Jaffa Shriners to the open house held on Saturday June 22nd in Philadelphia to make the check presentation. The KOC along with several members of the Jaffa Calliope Clowns presented Chairman Jon Swartz with their check. Over the 40 years, their donations have totaled $147k.
